Like most people I didn’t want to do it but over the past few months, since the end of the summer really, I have gradually put on some extra weight. The human body is naturally inclined to eat more in the cold winter months it was designed this way to put on fat to survive like many animals do, but we no longer need it do we?
Anyway I have done all the usual cutting back on my lovely treats like some delicious chocolate, sticky toffee puddings etc., but my weight remains just the same, or perhaps I would like to believe the scales are wrong! So I have decided to do something about getting rid of the extra fat layer and on talking to one of my colleagues in the office discovered that this can be done fairly easily through a medication. My colleague gave me the name of a registered pharmacy where you can buy Xenical online to reduce the fat intake when eating.
Naturally I wanted to find out more about Xenical online so I looked this up and find it is a safe and simple medication. Xenical or Orlistat is currently one of the only prescription weight loss treatments available to help people with a weight problem. Unlike most past weight loss medications, Xenical works directly in the stomach and doesn’t influence the hormonal balances in the brain. Xenical works by preventing up to 30% of the fat you consume per meal from being absorbed and taken to your body’s fat stores. In clinical trials, Xenical proved to be very effective, and helped participants lose between 5% and 10% of their body weight.
So hopefully when I receive my supply of Xenical, which is sent direct to my home, I shall begin to shed that extra weight and get into some suit trousers that have presented a bit of a challenge of late.

I have been having a few restless nights recently and added to that, I have been suffering from lower back pain. Following a visit to see my Doctor, I was surprised that he suggested that I get myself a new bed, I really thought that I would be coming out of his surgery with a prescription for sleeping pills and pain killers, I got that one wrong! So this set me on the trail of looking at beds and wondering why I should have to change my bed which I did not think was past it’s “sell by date,” how wrong I was about that.
I found out that if you’ve had your mattress for 10 years, you’ve slept on it for about 30,000 hours and I have had mine for at least that time. Like most people I have tended not to get a new mattress, it is something that I never gave any though to. To be fair to me and you would want to be I’m sure; I’m away quite a lot so my bed does not get slept in quite so often as someone who is at home all the time. I have a high end mattress anyway which didn’t get much use, but the mattress industry recommends a new mattress every 5 to 7 years, so I decided to look at online mattress suppliers to find a new one and I found a great online site where there are hundreds of different bed mattresses to choose from. I eventually decided on a Sealy which is the same as the one I have and I am awaiting delivery today and looking forward to a comfortable night tonight.

A very good friend of mine, who sadly and tragically died early this year, suffered from tinnitus which is a problem of the ears, the condition that causes constant ringing or buzzing within them. His problem was caused, it is believed came through his love of music being a very good classical clarinet player in a symphony orchestra and part time musician playing at stage shows.
The problem was brought home to me again when I read an article in a newspaper that believes the problem of tinnitus could be on the increase with the use of mobile ‘phones now used by just about everyone. Alarmingly the study has found that people who used their mobile phone for an average of ten minutes a day were more than 70 per cent more likely to have tinnitus. Those who used their phones on both ears, and those who had used a mobile for four years or more were twice as likely to have tinnitus.
I’m not sure how accurate findings like this are but it does make you think and sensible use of mobiles makes common sense. What makes me somewhat sceptical is the fact that they relied on people reporting their own mobile phone use and could not be sure if this was accurate. What is known though is that tinnitus affects around five million people in Britain and is considered a debilitating condition as sufferers may constantly hear a rushing, roaring or high pitched tone in one or both ears most of the time. The most common cause is damage to the hearing through trauma or exposure to loud noise, however some mental or physical changes can trigger it such as depression, redundancy and illness. I don’t know about you, but I think texting looks to be the order of the day from now on!
